To make it easier for you and your loved ones, here are some of the Sunshine Coast’s best family-friendly activities. 

The beach

Of course, we have to start with the beaches! The Sunshine Coast is aptly named with beautiful weather that is perfect for enjoying Queensland’s stunning coastline. Whether you want to swim, surf, 4WD, whale watch, take a walk or fish there really is something for everyone.

Kondalilla Falls

Just one of the many places where you can explore the gorgeous natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast, Kondalilla Falls is preceded by a beautiful walking trail, a lovely picnic area and a whole bunch of steps. At the foot of the falls itself is a rockpool that is perfect for swimming in; a perfect day from start to finish.

Treetop Challenge

An adventure that gets the blood pumping, Treetop Challenge Sunshine Coast features 120 rope challenges that range from 3 to a dizzying 35m high. Starting with the green rope course, the whole family can have a go at this in their own time and can continue leveling up depending on how brave they feel. Best suited to kids 14+, this will definitely be an adrenaline filled family day.

Made famous by the incredible Irwin family, Australia Zoo is a multi-award winning, ultimate wildlife destination. Filled to the brim with attractions like interactive exhibits, the kids’ corner, a multi-animal exhibit and of course the crocodile shows, there aren’t enough hours in the day to see all that this wonderful zoo has to offer.

This place has everything; puzzles, riddles, brain teasers and of course, mazes. Amaze world even offers mini-golf, nature play, and water play for when you need a break from all the riddle solving.

With a selection of cruises, the Noosa Ferry and Cruise Company can take you all around the Noosa River and surrounds in comfort. More than just enjoying being on the water, you have the chance to disembark at multiple stops along the way, exploring all that Noosa has to offer.

A unique experience unlike any other, you can explore the wild and untouched Noosa Everglades via ecotours.
