How it works
1. Strategy call and brief. We start with a free 30-minute phone call, then set out your priorities, budget, timing and non-negotiables.
2. Search. I search listed, pre-market and off-market properties that match your brief.
3. Inspect and assess. I inspect the ones worth considering and send you a video walk-through of each, with my honest assessment.
4. Price, due diligence and negotiation. I assess value, check the risks and negotiate the price and terms for you, or bid at auction.
5. Contract to settlement. I coordinate with your conveyancer, building and pest inspectors and anyone else involved, until you have the keys.

Ocean Buyers Agency is an independent buyer's agency based on the Sunshine Coast, led by me, Keeta Gibson.
My background is in economics and property development, and I've featured on House Hunters International in 2024 and 2025.

No. I act only for buyers, never for vendors, and I’m never paid by a selling agent for a property I recommend to you. Some agents work both sides, and I see that as a conflict of interest. When you engage me, my one job is helping you buy the right property on the right terms.

Yes. Many of my clients are relocating. I inspect on your behalf, send video walk-throughs and keep you across every step, so you can buy with confidence before you’ve moved.

Yes, often. Mostly through my relationships with selling agents across the Sunshine Coast. Many will call me before a property goes online, or let me know when something that suits a client’s brief is coming up, and some of these never list publicly. Some owners also come to me directly before deciding whether to list. Not every good purchase is off-market, and I’ll tell you plainly when the best option is one everyone can see.

It depends on your brief and the market. Some searches move quickly, others take longer. The appointment runs for 90 days, and if a property isn’t the right fit, I adjust and keep going. You won’t be pressured into anything. If we need more time, we’ll talk it through and agree on next steps together.
